It is always best to know the condition of a battery before use or before any piece of the electrical system is replaced. The battery is the source of the current for everything, and from electronic pieces such as an alternator regulator to the contacts inside the starter solenoid, low current can result in damage.
We are now carrying the CTEK Power Battery Analyzer, which is a very simple, easy to use, and accurate tester for 12 volt batteries. This is a great addition to any toolbox, and if you do not currently have any method of testing a battery besides a long screw driver or metal hanger, (not advised), this is a cost effective must have.
