Returns / WarrantyReturn Policy:
Returns accepted for 30 days following purchase unless otherwise specified for individual item. Item must be clean, free of any defects, and in original packaging. Items that have been mounted, used, or modified will not qualify for a return. All items will be tested and inspected before refund is issued. Defective items may be covered under the warranty policy, but are not returnable as they have been installed and used. All shipping costs are responsibility of buyer, including returning items that do not qualify for a refund.
Unless otherwise stated, all items are warranted for 1 year following purchase. All items submitted for warranty consideration will be tested, and inspected to verify not only that they are defective, but that the defect was caused by material or workmanship. If, in the sole judgement of Smith Co Electric or the item manufacturer the item does qualify for warranty, the item will be repaired or replaced and returned to the buyer, or the purchase price refunded at Smith Co Electric's discretion. *All shipping costs are responsibility of buyer for both submitting and returning warranted items.* If in the sole judgement of Smith Co Electric or the item manufacturer the item was consumed, subject to abuse, faulty repair, broken drive, drive ends or housings, staying engaged, could be the result of faulty parts external to the item, etc., warranty will be denied. This warranty is limited to making good by repair, replacement, or refund, whichever Smith Co Electric deems most appropriate. This warranty does not apply to loss of vehicle, loss of time, inconvenience, or consequential damages.
